Augusta Jones

Augusta Jones presents a fresh and contemporary approach to stylish wedding gowns. The concept behind the label is beautifully tailored gowns with lean, clean lines. With an unusually wide range of embroideries and delicate beadwork to choose from there is no shortage of ideas for the bride.

Started in early 1999 the label set out to do things differently offering brides a way to create their own personal style. The range of brides gowns fulfil three basic requirements: beautiful styling; flexibility of the range to suit a variety of shapes; and affordability.

Dramatic low backs that drop below the waistline are the hallmark of the new collection by Augusta Jones. Covered with the finest tulle and embellished with lace appliqué and beadwork, backs are this season’s story. Complementing off the shoulder, scoop and round necklines complete a silhouette that is both demure yet daring and will turn heads. Details such as tulip and kimono styled sleeves add a touch of whimsy to the classic A-line shapes.

On offer are delicate lace trims that looks as if they have been tattooed onto bare skin. Petal and scalloped shaped beadwork adorn antique lace adding a lovely shimmer to sheath style gowns. This collection possesses a mix of beautifully crafted shapes, yet it is the unexpected details that continue to surprise and dazzle.
